Tool
Bench scraper
Moves and divides dough cleanly.
What it is and why it matters
A bench scraper is a flat, rectangular blade with a handle. It lifts and divides dough, scrapes flour off the counter and scoops chopped food from the cutting board into the pot. It's simple and gets used more than you'd expect.
