Ingredients
- ¾ cup milk, plus more as needed
- ½ cup Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla
- 1 banana, ripe, fresh or frozen, broken into chunks
- 1 ½ cups frozen strawberries
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
Steps
- Pour the milk and yogurt into the blender first. Liquid on the bottom helps the blades get going.
- Add the banana and frozen strawberries.
- Blend on low to break up the fruit, then on high until completely smooth.
- If the smoothie is too thick to blend, add more milk 2 tablespoons at a time and blend again.
- Taste and blend in the honey if you want it sweeter. Pour into glasses and serve right away.
Tip: Freeze ripe bananas in chunks so you always have smoothie bananas on hand.
Tip: Use any milk you like, including oat or almond.
Storage: Best right away. Freeze leftovers in ice pop molds or ice cube trays for later.
