Easy Chocolate Fudge
- 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips, about 18 oz
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14 oz
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- ¾ cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
- flaky sea salt, for the top (optional)
Easy Chocolate Fudge
- Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving some paper hanging over two sides to use as handles.
- Put the chocolate chips, condensed milk and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- Stir constantly with a spatula until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Keep the heat low so the chocolate doesn't scorch.
- Take the pan off the heat and stir in the vanilla and salt, then the walnuts if using.
- Scrape the fudge into the lined pan and spread it into an even layer.
- Sprinkle with flaky salt if you like.
- Refrigerate until firm.
- Lift the fudge out using the parchment handles and cut it into 6 rows each way. Wipe the knife clean between cuts.
